Fell behind on normal updates a bit because I needed to get these done before the month was up. I’m going to be at Otakon this July and the print of Chapter 1 I’m selling will have this full-color intro in addition to the current pages. In the future, I think I’ll be updating Chapter 1 in “chunks” like this, maybe six pages at a time, until they’re all fully colored.

Okay, I promised myself I wouldn’t obsessively keep track of this website, but I’m finding interesting things other people noticed about my work that I didn’t.
And other things that I don’t think completely apply to my work, but tropes are sort of ‘one size fits all’ so that’s probably normal. Also, you know, everything on the site is subjective.
I love this style. It appears the jokes weren’t any better then than they are now, but if Marmaduke still looked like this, at least it would have something going for it.
Marmaduke, like a lot of classic comic strips, gets a bad rap these days as an all-too-easy punchline (and sure, the recent movie didn’t help) for unfunny comics, which always strikes me as a bit unfair. Because isn’t it great that today’s world of comics has enough material to cater to such a variety of tastes? Marmaduke-lovers included.
Regardless, I don’t think I had ever seen the strip’s earlier incarnations. Its bold clean lines barely resemble the loose scribbly Great Dane we know today.

Hey guys, i have never ask before for any reblogs of anything, but today i want to.
The dog you see here is one of my 4 dogs, his name is Bobby and he is only 1 year old.
My dogs are the only reason i do the things i do in my life, they are what makes me going each day. In simple words, my dogs are my life.Today i went to the vet because bobby has being sick of his eyes and he doesn’t want to eat nor play, jump, bark nor being the very active and happy dog you see in the picture. So the doctor said he is in between the line of being sick of distemper or not.
He is on a treatment right now and it all depends on him and in how he reacts to it.
So please if you love dogs, please pray for him, i have never lost a dog because of death and i don’t want this to be the first time.
If you’re an owner of a dog or two, you understand my pain.
Please reblog so that any other dog lover can pray with me.
